Comprehensive Case Management And Employment Program (ccmep) | Geauga County Job And Family Services
Provides employment and training services to eligible, low-income individuals based on a comprehensive assessment of employment and training needs, as well as a basic skills assessment. Participants are provided services to support goals outlined in their individual opportunity plan, which may include support to obtain a high school diploma, job placement, work experience, and other supportive services such as rent, child care and transportation. Participants are provided with case management to address barriers to self-sufficiency such as health, addiction/substance abuse issues, housing, education, transportation, etc. Participants are typically offered paid Summer employment.

Eligibility
Serves Geauga County youth and young adults age 14 through 24 yrs. and with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Limit (FPL). If age 18 or older, there must be a minor child present in the household (this could be client's child, a younger sibling or relative, or the minor child of a roommate). Will accept those age 18 through 24 if facing certain barriers to self-sufficiency such as: in school but held back a grade; having a disability; living in a low income area, not having attained a high school diploma or GED.
