Ubuntu Leadership Parent Training | East End Neighborhood House
Provides a program to increase parenting skills through positive reinforcement techniques. Classes provide information and practice that helps establish routines, communication, builds children's self-worth, rewards and punishments, personal power, handling stress and anger, praise and self-nurturing. Limited child care available during classes. Class includes a certificate of completion. Maximum of 10 parents/class.

Pre-registration required. Call to register or leave a message that will be returned. Those who have an open case with the county's child serving agency must have their worker contact the staff of the program to ensure that the program meets their needs.

Ages 16-30 years who are parents of young children. Those with an open case with the county child-serving agency are eligible. Targeted but not restricted to the African-American community.
