LASC hosts a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic that may be able to assist clients with federal tax controversies, or problems. They do not file tax returns. The clinic can also provide education for taxpayers and provide outreach to those who are low income, or who speak English as a second language.

LEGAL AID OF SOUTHEAST AND CENTRAL OHIO
Legal services to low-income individuals in civil cases, including landlord/tenant disputes, eviction prevention, divorce, custody, domestic violence, welfare, assisting with consumer related issues, educational issues such as representation of juveniles in suspension and expulsion hearing, and sealing of criminal records. Referrals are available for reduced-rate lawyers in divorce cases with or without children and also for bankruptcy. A low-income tax payer clinic is available for those with tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service.
