Utility bill (Current heating bill, statement from landlord if heating expenses are included in rent, or statement from utility company if you participate in a Pre-pay Electric Program),Proof of income (Previous month's income for all household members.),Social security card (For all household members. Offers a one-time payment to assist with household cooling expenses. Amount of assistance provided varies based on household income and housing category. Assistance payments are made directly to the household's electric provider. Applications for assistance are accepted between April 20th and May 22nd, or until funds are expended.
