Pet Food | Helping Everyone'S Loving Pets (H.E.L.P.)

Provides pet food on a month-to-month basis for pet owners experiencing financial hardship. Food is appropriate for animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and birds. Assistance is given to each pet owner once every 30 days. Also provides names and phone numbers of low-cost clinics for spay/neuter and shots.

Application process

Phone for information 7 days a week: 12:30am-7:00pm or send an email. If no answer, leave a message and the call will generally be returned within 1-2 business days. Information also available on organization's Facebook page. Clients will need to pick up the pet food or send a person to pick up on their behalf. Must make this arrangement with the pantry beforehand.

Eligibility

Serves households facing financial hardship. Clients do not need to live in Medina County to get assistance, but must be able to pick up from the Medina location. Ask for a proxy form if someone else will be picking up pet food for the client.
