- Call the agency Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and ask for Child/Adult Protective Services. The phone is not answered from Noon to 1:00pm during lunch. - After hours (weekdays from 4:31pm to 7:59am and on weekends) for emergencies only, contact the Tuscarawas County Sheriff's office.

Description

Provides services to children and families to ensure all children remain safe from harm. Investigates reports of child abuse and neglect. Services include referral to community resources, placement of children in a safe home when needed, developing safety plans with families, and court activities. Also accepts self-referrals for families in need of child safety services.
