Serves eligible Ohio Edison Residential customers with severe health problems.
Required documents
Must provide physician's documentation of medical need. Need account number of phone number associated with account to process request.
Hours
Customer Service representatives available Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Must be used to prior to disconnection or must be obtained within 21 days of disconnection to restore service. May be used two (2) additional times within a 12 month period. The total certification period cannot exceed 90 days per household in any 12 month period.
