Need verifications of:
* Proof of GROSS income for the previous 30 day period for entire household. If paid weekly bring the last five pay stubs you've received, Bi-weekly bring the last three pay stubs you've received. (Bank statements aren't allowed for wages because they only give net income.) Examples of countable income are: wages, alimony, unemployment benefits, utility allowance, SSI, SSDI, Social Security, interest for savings, pensions, TANF, worker's comp, veteran's benefits, railroad pension, and strike benefits.
If a head of household states they have zero income, An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax transcript is required in addition to proof of how you are supporting the household. Households reporting zero income who were not required to file taxes will need to request a copy of a Verification of Non-Filing of Returns from the IRS as proof that a return was not filed. These documents may be obtained in three ways:

* Picture ID for all household members.
* Both utility bills (bulk fuel bill/account number, natural gas, electric)
* Social Security cards for ALL household members **This is important to have proof of citizenship. Maybe asked to have birth certificate also.
* Proof of disability (if applicable)
* Confirmation number (from automated phone system)
* For individuals who receive Child Support or Unemployment Benefits MUST bring this documentation with them at the time of their appointment.
