- Registration for food baskets and toys will be from Monday September 15th, 2025 to Friday October 31st, 2025: Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. - Extended registration hours available on select dates: -- Center of Hope: Tuesday October 28th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. -- Kent Social Services: Thursday October 23rd from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Application process
Walk in for registration. Registration includes food baskets for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and assistance for gifts for children.

Eligibility
- Serves residents of Portage County with household income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. - Gift assistance is for families with children from birth to 13. - Clients are not required to have children to get a Holiday Food Basket. - Sign up for holiday assistance with only one (1) organization. NOTE: Families who have already signed up for gifts with the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, or any other holiday gift program are not eligible for gifts through this program - but are still eligible for the food basket.
