Designs, constructs, inspects and maintains all county highways, bridges, and dedicated drainage ditches throughout the county. Works to assure and improve the safety and efficiency of public transportation and stormwater facilities. Provides surveying, issuing permits, numbering/addressing houses in unincorporated areas, and participating in the on-going development of a county Geographical Information System.
