Must be:
  • Able to demonstrate financial need and unexpected hardship
  • Honorably Discharged Veteran.
  • Residents of Jackson County for 3 months immediately preceding the application.
  • Financial disclosure and other proof as required.
  • Complete Application.

The purpose of financial assistance is to provide temporary financial aid to those who make a conscientious effort to find a permanent solution to their financial problems. Assistance will only be given to those who have a legitimate emergency or hardship as determined by the Veterans Service Commission, and meet the eligibility requirements established by the Ohio Revised Code. It is our intention to assist veterans and their dependents on a short term basis until a permanent solution to their difficulties can be arranged.
