FAMILY SOLUTIONS - FAMILIES | FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SERVICES

Offers counseling and case management services to families in order to address significant behavioral and emotional issues that challenge the stability of the home. Services are time limited and solution focused. Goal is to improve emotional and behavioral management skills, reduce conflict, and increase healthy family interactions. Offers case management services to help the family develop and implement a crisis plan and increase problem solving skills. Provides on-going support, education, and advocacy. Links the family to services across multiple systems and agencies.

Application process

Call the office Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 9:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm to apply. Self referral accepted as well as professional referrals.

Fee

Accepts Medicaid only.

Eligibility

Families who are involved across multiple community mental health and provider systems who are at risk for disruption (such as: out of home placement due to abuse, neglect or other high risk behavior; and/or court involvement). Will also assist those who are in the process of reunification from foster care or residential treatment.

Provides a broad continuum of community-based services to individuals and families in Northeast Ohio. Services include hot meals, emergency groceries, shelters for the homeless, emergency housing assistance, services for children, support for victims of domestic violence, veteran’s assistance, community and senior outreach, and full clinical services including counseling, case management, psychiatry and addiction services. Services provided vary by county.
