Must be a Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Stark, Tuscarawas, Harrison, Carroll or Jefferson County resident in Ohio, or Brooke or Hancock County in West Virginia, who have income of up to 200% of the federal poverty level. Household items given to those who have had a recent fire in their home and have first contacted the Red Cross or those who were recently homeless and moving into a new residence. Service can only be used once a year, up to three times in a lifetime.

Application is on the agency's website - on website go to "Services" and select "Family Strengthening" and the application link is on that page. May phone for more information M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. If the caller qualifies, the voucher will be mailed to or delivered via a caseworker in about three weeks. If the caller has not received a voucher in about three weeks, said caller did not qualify. Note: an application is not a guarantee of assistance.
