Description

Provides adult protective assessment and investigation for older adults in Medina County. Assists client and their family with necessary services that will help client remain at home if they are at risk of self-neglect, abuse or exploitation by another. Provides social worker to families with victimized older adults and assists in finding acceptable options to ensure their safety.

Provides in-home and community based services, including home-delivered (Meals-On-Wheels) and congregate meals, and a variety of cultural, recreational and educational programs, to Medina County residents over the age of 60. Functions as an Aging and Disability Resources Center (ADRC), offering information and assistance, options counseling and benefits screening for older adults and adults with disabilities.
