Anyone over the age of 18; anyone under the age of 18 through a parent or guardian; and a corporation or limited liability company through its officer, salaried employee or attorney in Ross County. The person being sued must live in or the transaction must have taken place in Ross County.

Application process

Small Claims Complaints must either be filed in person because the person filing the complaint must sign in the presence of a Clerk. Or, the Small Claims Complaint form can be notarized and mailed to Chillicothe Municipal Court along with a check for the appropriate filing fee.
