The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) offers free tax help to low to moderate income people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers prepare basic tax returns and file electronically. Volunteers must complete training and become certified before volunteering.

Bridges Community Action Partnership administers the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) for a six county area. This Block Grant provides administrative and planning functions, client outreach, information and referral services, and emergency services associated with the Agency's programming.
