Provides a lead abatement program to reduce lead-based paint hazards in homes. Services may include window replacement, siding, porch replacement/repair, and door replacement/repair. Program is in partnership with Summit County Public Health.

Fee
No fee to apply. Assistance is available through a 5-year, deferred, forgivable mortgage. Landlords will be responsible for 20% of the contractor’s final bid.
Eligibility
Serves homeowners and renters within Summit County who meet all of the following eligibility: - Home was built before 1978. - A child under the age of six (6) lives in the home or visits at least six (6) hours a week. - The home meets local ordinances and housing codes. - Property taxes are not delinquent. - Income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Note: Rental units are income qualified based on the tenant's income.
