Clients are eligible to use the financial assistance up to once every other year, and will not be served two consecutive years unless approved by the case manager. A maximum of (3) financial assistance per household in a lifetime. Emergency assistance based on 1 month’s bill. Persons needing more than one (1) month’s bill only with approval by staff, contingent on funds available. Financial assistance is used for car repairs for employment transportation (from a qualified mechanic). Clients must make an appointment. NOTE: Proof of need, identification and income information is required for every referral.
