CENTERVILLE-WASHINGTON PARK DISTRICT

The Centerville-Washington Park District is an Ohio township park district supported primarily by real estate taxes and governed by a volunteer board of park commissioners. The suburban park district consists of 33 neighborhood parks, 8 nature parks and 8 community parks, encompassing close to 1,000 acres of parkland in Centerville and Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio. Park facilities include outdoor athletic fields, nature, walking & biking trails, shelters, sprayground, small nature center, skatepark, dog park, playgrounds, and an 1800’s historic house. Natural areas include woods, meadow, prairie, wetland and stream habitats.
