SAFETY NET - YOUTH SHELTER (12-17) | ZEPF CENTER - CORPORATE

Provides emergency shelter to runaway, troubled and homeless youth. Services include food, shelter, clothing, transportation and hygiene-related items (Gateway Services). All clients will be assessed and provided case management and linkage to appropriate community services. Clients may receive follow-up/aftercare services for 3 months, including a plan for exit, permanent placement, and achieving personal goals.

Eligibility

Children age 12 to age 17 in northwest Ohio, who are experiencing a family crisis to the point where safety, physical health or emotional health is at risk. Includes the following: Youth who have run away, have been asked to leave their residence, are homeless or couch-hopping from place to place, youth who are stranded in the area, or are being physically, sexually, or emotionally abused. Other situations might include youth who are lost or their parents or guardians cannot be located.
