Eligibility
- Serves Medina, Summit, Stark, Portage, Columbiana, Mahoning, Trumbull, and Wayne Counties.
- Serves families or individuals who have homes in foreclosure or who have missed payments and are in danger of foreclosure.
- Must be below 250% the Federal Poverty Level.

- Call the Legal HelpLine or visit website for more information or to apply for assistance.
- If completing online application, applicants must provide a valid phone number where they can be reached. Applicants will be informed about the status of their application and next steps.
- Prospective clients go through a brief eligibility screening process. If eligible, clients are scheduled to speak with an attorney who will discuss their problem with them.
- Cases needing more than telephone consultation are served at local offices according to case acceptance criteria.

Offers mortgage foreclosure assistance for individuals and families who are in danger of foreclosure or have already been foreclosed upon. Provides counseling for clients who are facing foreclosure due to property tax defaults. Assesses each case and then determines if a staff or volunteer attorney can be assigned to the client.
