Eligibility
  • Serves residents of ZIP code 44035 and 44039 with household income at or below 200% the Federal Poverty Level.
  • Must have a disconnection or termination notice.
  • For electric and gas: When Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is available, must apply for Emergency HEAP (Winter Crisis or Summer Crisis) first. Will only assist clients who have a denial letter from Lorain County Community Action Agency.
Required documents
  • Proof of income, proof of residency, and other supporting documentation.
  • Proof of denial from HEAP and Department of Job and Family Services.
