Serves Ross County. Must meet federally established limits for family income, according to the guidelines of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). For persons convicted of a felony, must be at least three years after being convicted, and other eligibility criteria may apply.

Application process

Phone M-F: 8:00am-12:00noon and 1:00pm-4:00pm for information. Walk-in service is provided M-F: 8:00am-12:00noon and 1:00pm-4:00pm but appointments are preferred. Program applications are available online. After application is submitted, family is placed on bottom of waiting list and will be notified by mail when space is available. There is an annual renewal required to update paperwork and stay on list. Those with maintenance issues after-hours may phone an answering service (the answering service will triage the concern and pass that information on to maintenance staff).

Fees

Tenant pays 30-40% of family's monthly adjusted income or flat rent.
