Hosting a Community Baby Shower outreach event. Will provide families with available information, resources, and the chance to win big ticket prizes such as a highchair, stroller, eand so forth. The Health Department will offer car seat safety checks while giving away booster seats and car seats to eligible attendees. Harrison County WIC will provide additional information on Breastfeeding Awareness Month which includes Enabling Breastfeeding and Making a Difference for Working Parents. A light lunch will be provided along with various community organizations and vendors set up with tables to highlight available resources.
