Eligibility

Ages 5-18 (grades K-12); targets inner-city and underserved youth.

Required documents

Completed application with parental consent.

Hours

Offered annually during the academic school year (September-May), in 3 8-week sessions of 3 hours each, usually Sat: 9:00am-noon.

Application process

Phone for information or to obtain a registration packet M-F: 8:30am-5:00pm. Students may participate in just one 8-week session/academic year.

Description

Provides a math and science educational enrichment program for youth who have historically been underrepresented in the fields of science, engineering, mathematics, and aerospace. There are special end-of-the year out-of-town related field trips for selected participants. The program is funded by NASA. Each session is limited to 20 students per grade level
