By appointment only. Call the Donation Pickup Service number Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Must schedule at least two (2) days prior to pick-up date.

To Request a Donation Pick-Up: Received a Postcard from AMVETS:
  • If responding to mailed postcard, must call or email at least two (2) days prior to pick-up date on postcard.
  • Attach the card or sheet of paper marked "AMVETS" to donation. Please cover items if chance of rain.
Note: If your driveway is over 250 feet long, please leave the donation at the end of the driveway by the road.

Summit County, Ohio Medina County, Ohio
Will pick up donated personal and household goods, supplies, and other items from homes and businesses. Items are resold at thrift stores to support other AMVETS programs. No longer accepts furniture, large appliances, televisions, baby equipment, or reference books. Items accepted:
  • Clothing (men, women, children - all types and sizes).
  • Shoes (no boots).
  • Linens and all bedding items (no mattresses).
  • Draperies and curtains.
  • Housewares and glassware.
  • Radios and other small appliances.
