Eligibility
The only eligibility requirement is that the crime must have occurred in Ohio. If the crime did not occur in Ohio, OCVJC staff may be able to refer you to someone who can provide assistance in another state.
Required documents
Potential clients must fill out a "Request for Assistance" located on the website www.ocvjc.org. Select the "Get Help" tab. If potential clients do not have web access please call 614-848-8500 to request a "Request for Assistance" via fax or mail.

Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
Languages
OCVJC serves non-english speaking and deaf/hard of hearing clients and utilizes language line and interpreters as needed.

  • Informational and technical assistance to attorneys, service providers, and legislators on crime victims' rights laws;
  • Victims rights training to justice system officials and allied professionals.
