Eligibility
U.S. military Veterans, spouse or widow(er) - not divorced - of a U.S. military veteran. Veteran must have served 6 months of active duty service and have an Honorable discharge or must be eligible for veteran benefits and provide appropriate documentation to show eligibility.
Required documents
Must provide DD214 form or documentation showing eligibility for veteran benefits.

Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
Application process
Qualifying U.S. military veteran walk-ins to the office to pick up an application, or call the Pickaway MHA office at 740-477-2514 to request an application be mailed, faxed or emailed to you.

The Pickaway Metropolitan Housing Authority accepts applications for Section 8 Housing vouchers when the applicant is a spouse of a U.S. military veteran, spouse or widow (not divorced) of a veteran and the veteran meets VA qualifying criteria. Veterans must complete a paper application when the waiting list is closed to online applications. DD214 or other VA documentation must be submitted to qualify for placement on the HCV waiting list. Veterans receive preference on these waiting lists. All applications are placed on the waiting list by date and time of application, with veterans placed above non-veterans according to the date and time of the veteran application.
