Eligibility
Serves residents of Summit County. A minor child or an adult may be adopted by spouses jointly, a step-parent, or a single adult. With the exception of an adult adoption, a home study is required.
Required documents
Notarized consents from the biological parents are necessary unless parental rights have been terminated by Juvenile Court or the Probate Court finds that the consent of the biological parents is not necessary. Call for details.
