CHILDREN WITH MEDICAL HANDICAPS - WCHD | WASHINGTON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
The Children with Medical Handicaps program is a health care program for children ages birth-21 years. BCMH links families of children with special health care needs to a network of providers. The program also helps families obtain payment for the services their children need. Children with special health care needs are defined as those who have or are at increased risk for a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally.
