4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT | OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY EXTENSION - CUYAHOGA COUNTY
Offers educational programs that focus on leadership development and citizenship through projects that center on a specific topic such as gardening, animal science, food and nutrition, the arts, genealogy, and natural sciences. Youth meet in small groups, or "clubs," to pursue special interests and participate in camps, fairs, community service, and leadership activities. Offers short term programs for schools and career exploration programs. Also offers "Youth Outdoors" a program of outdoor activities for youth that is jointly offered with the Cleveland MetroParks.

Serves Cuyahoga County youth ages 5-19. Programs may be a 4-H Club, a partnership with schools and community agencies, or other arrangements. Schools should inquire to see if their school is eligible for a program; grades for school programs vary with program.
