HEALTHY FOOD WITH TANNER | OSU EXTENSION
Offering an 8 week SNAP-Ed series for teens on healthy cooking and eating. Participants are not required to attend all classes. Weekly classes will include: Week 1: MyPlate: Hiker Trail Mix & Colorful Quesadilla Week 2: Fruits & Veggies: Jicama Taste Test & Fruit Salad Week 3: Dairy: Healthy Hot Chocolate & Other Campfire food Week 4: Breakfast: Yogurt Parfaits Week 5: Protein: Sunflower butter, crackers, peanut energy balls, and cowboy caviar Week 6: Food Pantry Finds: Create a recipe using food pantry items Week 7: Rethink your drink: Infused Water & Popcorn snack Week 8: Healthy Habits: Healthy Ice Cream.
