Application process
Call 2-1-1 to complete an assessment and determine eligibility. Completed intake will be sent to the United Way of Summit and Medina Housing Department. NOTE: Applicants will hear back within 4-5 weeks due to high demand for assistance at this time. No information about application status will be available until 4-5 weeks after application.

Eligibility
- Must be a resident of Summit County. - Households who are currently enrolled in SNAP OR households with minor children or a pregnant individual and income under 200% FPL. - Household income must be double that of monthly rent payment. NOTE: AMHA housing residents must also have income double that of monthly rent payment. - Rent must be past due at least one (1) month and one (1) day into the next month (as this counts as two (2) months past due). - Can not owe more than two (2) months past due rent. - Must not currently have sanctions with Summit County Department of Job and Family Services (SCDJFS). - Must not have already received maximum assistance from available funding sources. - Must be age 18 or over. - Must be a United States Citizen or qualified alien.
