Description

Provides information on the process for obtaining International Health Certificates which are required for many types of animals (such as pets and livestock) to travel outside the United States. The certificates are completed by an accredited veterinarian who certifies herd and animal health status, conducts tests, and records test results for the individual animals being exported. In order for certificates to be valid, a Veterinary Services area office must endorse (complete and sign) international health certificates to allow animals to be exported from the United States.
