The Ohio Direction Card (EBT Card) is an electronic debit card that replaced food assistance coupons. The card can be used to purchase food products for human consumption at participating stores. - Those who are homeless or have zero (0) income may be eligible for one (1) month expedited benefit within 24 hours. - Benefits that are not used in a month may be carried over to the next month, up to one (1) year.

Eligibility

- Serves Harrison County. - Individuals and families may qualify if the household income is under 130% of the Federal Poverty Guideline. - Households are categorically eligible/automatically qualify if they are receiving SSI, OWF, or PRC services. - Changes in household composition and income could result in changes to benefit amount. Recipients are responsible for reporting these or any other changes within 10 days of occurrence. Receiving more than a household is entitled to could result in overpayment penalties or charges of fraud. - Once approved, individuals and families can remain eligible for benefits until their income exceeds 200% of the Federal Poverty level, at which point their benefits would decrease but not immediately terminate. - Serves United States citizens.
