Description

Provides prenatal and postnatal services utilizing an Earn While You Learn pregnancy and parenting education program. Baby items including cribs, car seats, diapers, clothing, etc are earned as lessons are completed. Group classes on safe sleep, preventing child sexual abuse, and shaken baby syndrome are also offered. Staff are certified as child passenger safety technicians and can check for proper installation of car seats.

Family & Youth Initiatives

FYI's mission is "Empowering Families, Providing Hope". It focuses on rescuing children from the preborn to teens through multiple programs. Parenting Network provides free pregnancy/parenting education and material goods to parents who are expecting or have children up to age 5, utilizing an "Earn While You Learn" curriculum. Real Life's in school education program for middle and high schools, focuses on healthy relationships and consequences of at risk behavior. Mentoring Program matches adults with students in 4th - 12th grade in group and one on one settings. Gardening for Health's community garden allows local residents to grow produce for their families and supply fresh produce to local food banks. GED tutoring is available to students needing preparation for testing.
