The Clerks office is responsible for maintaining the public record on all court cases in the Licking County Municipal Court as well as collecting and distributing fines, court costs and fees associated with these cases. The Clerk's Office staff provides assistance to the public, law enforcement agencies, and attorneys who utilize the services of the court.

Licking County Municipal Court
This court has jurisdiction over all traffic and criminal misdemeanors that occur in Licking County, Ohio. The Court also handles preliminary matters in felony cases and has jurisdiction over civil cases involving claims of up to $15,000.00. In addition, the Licking County Municipal Court has a Small Claims Division. Small Claims Court hears disputes for money damages ONLY, in amounts not to exceed $3,000.
