Description

Provides payment aid once per heating season to consumers who have been disconnected or received a shut-off notice, or service that needs started, or have 25% or less supply of bulk fuel (fuel oil or propane). To receive assistance, households served by a state-regulated utility must also sign up for a payment plan, such as the Percentage of Income Utility Plan (PIPP). Program can also pay for furnace repair and space heaters.
