FAIR HOUSING | CITY OF MANSFIELD - MANSFIELD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Housing discrimination is handled through Fair Housing at Community Development. The Fair Housing Commission's goal is to enable all citizens, and prospective citizens of Mansfield-Shelby/Richland County to acquire and maintain equal housing accommodations. Individuals might otherwise be discouraged or prohibited from equal housing opportunities based on race, national origin, religion, age, sex, familial status or disability. It is the duty of the Fair Housing Commission to prevent, discourage, and deal with unfair housing practices stemming from prejudices that result from a prospective homeowner or tenant because they are a member of one of the aforementioned groups.
