Families of a child or young adult (ages 12 through 25) whose household income is at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (each family member's income is calculated). Families applying typically are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare and do not have commercial insurance coverage or available assets to cover the cost of care.
Verification of household income: most recent W2, tax return, or most recent paystub.

Description

Provides funding to assist families for their teenager or young adult's mental health treatment. Families must meet eligibility requirements and if approved, the agency will provide up to $2,500 per financial assistance recipient per lifetime. Payment is made directly to the recipient’s therapist. Does not pay for therapy performed prior to approval for this service.
