Eligibility
Submit an inquiry on website, a staff member will follow up by phone to provide more information and to get the enrollment process started. Volunteers and their little brothers or sisters meet at various locations and may converse by phone.
Required documents
Photo ID, proof of auto insurance (if a driver), 3-4 references (personal and employer), high school diploma or college degree.
Hours
Bigs and Littles meet at mutually convenient times.

Recruits and trains adult volunteers to serve as role models, friends, and mentors for youth who may benefit from a supportive relationship. The volunteers (Bigs) have contact with the youth (Littles) twice a month for a period of at least one year. The volunteer and child participate in social and recreational activities such as watching movies, talking on the phone, bicycling, or just running errands. Professional caseworkers are available to provide advice and support.
