AARP MATURE DRIVING COURSE | KNOX PUBLIC HEALTH

Knox Public Health hosts the AAA Mature Driver Course as needed The 2-day course is open to AAA members and non-members. The course gives drivers the skills and tools they need to drive safely on today's roads, allowing them to remain independent for many years to come. Among an update of driving skills and rules of the road, attendees will learn about normal age-related physical changes and how to adjust their driving to compensate. The course can reduce your chances of receiving a traffic violation, getting into an accident, or becoming injured. Attendees will receive a certificate after completing the class and might be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. The discount is usually good for three years; so if you took the course a few years ago and received a discount, you might want to consider taking it again.
