Description

Plans, coordinates, and develops services for older adults. Provides funds by contracting with organizations that provide direct services to older adults and people under 60 with a disability. Monitors contracted providers and advocates for needs of older adults. Programs include: Senior Community Services, Family Caregiver Support, Passport, Assisted Living Waiver, Ohio Home Care Waiver, Specialized Recovery Services, Senior Farmer's Market Program, Wellness Programs, Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
