Early intervention (EI) is designed to stimulate development early in life to provide children the opportunity to maximize their abilities. Families served in Early Intervention are supported by a team consisting of a service coordinator, service providers, and your family. The team works with you in your home or other places you and your family spend time to develop a coordinated plan called an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
