Description

Handles a specialized docket of drug-related cases designed to reduce eligible drug charges and support offenders to carry out a plan for their rehabilitation. Those who are eligible for participation in the docket will be assessed by the court's staff, appear before a judge and have their charges reduced. Each will have an individualized plan to address any drug or alcohol treatment needed, vocational training, education, employment, transportation, housing, domestic violence programming, or needed physical, mental, and dental health services. Program requires regular drug screening and repeated appearances before the court.
