Behavioral Health | Neighborhood Family Practice
Provides mental health counselors who conduct assessments and offers general counseling services. Handles issues such as depression, trauma, grief, relationships (not marriage counseling) and life problems. Will refer those with more serious issues, such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, to other local mental health service providers.

Application process
If not already a patient, phone to begin the process. The first appointment for those with insurance will be for a "meet and greet" with the doctor. For new patients without insurance the first appointment will be with the benefits department for financial rating and establishment of sliding scale or other assistance. First appointments are generally available within the week.
Fee
Sliding fee discount based on household income. Accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Health Management Organization (HMO), and commercial insurance. Some medications may require co-payment.
Eligibility
Must be a primary care patient of the organization before receiving these services.
