Child And Adult Protective Services | Geauga County Job And Family Services

Receives and investigates reports of alleged abuse, neglect, self-neglect and/or exploitation of children as well as older adults and/or adults with disabilities in need of protection. Cases accepted for service are investigated fully, and all identified problem areas which may affect the client's well-being are assessed. All reports are kept confidential.

Phone to report alleged abuse, neglect, self-neglect and/or exploitation M-F: 8:00am-4:30pm. AFTER HOURS: phone COPEline M-F: 4:30pm-8:00am; Sa, Su: 24 hours a day. All reports are kept confidential. A case worker will document the allegation and may begin the investigation process.

Serves Geauga County children age 0-17, adults age 60 or older, and individuals age 18-21 with a Developmental Disability diagnosis. No restrictions for persons reporting abuse.
