Recreation program activities include golf, tennis, adult and youth athletic leagues including but not limited to soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball, baseball and softball. Youth and adult activities and educational programs include summer camp, nature programs, arts & crafts and much more are on the schedule. Residents can travel to Urbana (north), Cincinnati (south), and Buck Creek State Park (east), from downtown following the multi-purpose trails. The Trail Walkers program,meets on Thursdays at 10:00, 9:00 am for the summer months, and highlights the multi-purpose trail system to promote fitness, fellowship and fun. Other activities such as golf, swimming, tennis, and special events take place at the many different parks in the county. The parks also provide areas for picnics, fishing, ice skating, horseshoes, playgrounds, athletic events and special event concerts and shuffleboard. Parks include: Snyder Park, North Plum Street, Bechtle Ave. Rotary Centennial Playground (in Snyder Park) ADA accessible design to be shared by all children Bethie's Sprayground (in Snyder Park) free water experience for all chidlren- opening July 2015 Davey Moore Park, 627 S.
