Eligibility
For mortgage payment assistance eligibility, call 888-404-4674, or visit savethedream.ohiohome.org. Save the Dream Ohio provides assistance to Ohio homeowners facing foreclosure and/or who cannot afford to pay their mortgage payments or other related housing costs as a result of economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is administered by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency.
Required documents
Must have the following: Any correspondence from loan servicer mortgage statement utility bill last 30 days of income for all household members 2 most recent bank statements (all pages) last 2 years of tax returns evidence of homeowners insurance real estate taxes have to be current, or in verified repayment plan Photo ID.

Self-directed guidance available to help distressed homeowners avoid foreclosure as well as negotiate an affordable monthly payment with their mortgage loan servicer. Individual counseling available on a limited basis. NHP is a HUD approved housing counseling agency.
