Outreach Advocacy Program | Family And Community Services

Offers assistance in dealing with the justice system to victims of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault or related crimes. Acts as intake for all restraining orders in Portage County. Will help the victim fill out and file any necessary paperwork and will accompany the victim to all legal proceedings.

Call the office Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm for more information or to initiate service. May call the Safer Futures Hotline after-hours for information about this program. In many cases, enforcement agencies will refer victims to this program, but self-referral is accepted.
